It's back! Join us for a very special evening concert by the Northwest Indiana Symphony, as the sun sets behind the magnificent dunes at West Beach. Under the direction of Conductor Kirk Muspratt, northwest Indiana's very own 40-piece symphony orchestra will perform music selected for a summer evening.
Limited seating will be available. Visitors are strongly encouraged to bring folding chairs. You are invited to pack your own picnic dinner or purchase food from one of several on-site food vendors. Wine tasting will be offered as a fundraiser to benefit Dunes Learning Center. Fee collection at West Beach will stop at 5:30 p.m. on the day of the concert. Please carpool if possible.
This free concert is presented in partnership with the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore, Friends of Indiana Dunes, Dunes National Park Association, National Park Foundation, and Eastern National. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Chesterton High School Auditorium. If the concert is moved indoors, information will be posted at the entrance to West Beach, on the park's website and Facebook page. For more information call 219-395-1882.
