Educational Adventures in the Dunes
Dunes Learning Center, in partnership with eleven regional environmental organizations, has published a guide to environmental education programs in the Indiana Dunes.
With over 60 program options spanning field study destination programs, outreach programs in schools, and teacher professional development, there is something for every class and group!
Thanks to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Lake Michigan Coastal Program for funding this cooperative project.
The National Park Service and generous donors to Dunes Learning Center help to underwrite the cost of all of our programs. Scholarships (up to 50% of program cost) are available as well, on a sliding scale based on need. Please join the many corporate, foundation, and individual donors who support Dunes Learning Center and want to help get kids outside to explore and learn.
