Standing on the grounds of the former Good Fellow Club Youth Camp, Dunes Learning Center is located in the heart of Indiana Dunes National Park, less than an hour from Chicago. Our modern facility is encircled by scenic trails, historic sites, and one of the most biologically diverse National Parks in the nation.
Cabins
Dunes Learning Center has ten cabins that each accomodate up to seven campers and one adult cabin leader. The cabins are fully accessible, with comfortable bunk beds, heat and air conditioning, and private toilets and showers. Male and female campers use separate cabins and are supervised by adults both inside the cabins and during all activities. Campers can make cabin mate requests to enhance their camp experience.

Cowles Lodge & Food Service
A large multi-purpose dining and activity hall is the central hub of campus. Dunes Learning Center provides fresh, balanced, kid-friendly, meals for campers. Meal times are important parts of the camper’s day and provide opportunities for socializing, fun activities, and learning about food as a natural resource. The full-service kitchen can meet most dietary needs. DLC is an allergen-aware facility and does not serve any nuts. All snacks will be provided. Please do not send any food with your camper. If your camper has any dietary restrictions, please indicate this in CampDoc. If you need to speak with the Hospitality Director, please send an email.
